Review by hotel critic
The owner was extremely friendly and offered valuable local knowledge for our hiking holiday, which greatly enhanced our experience. the fact that they were accommodating to our dietary restrictions as pescatarians also earned high marks in my book. The room itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a lovely hot shower that was very much appreciated after a long day of walking. the free toiletries provided added a nice touch of luxury, and the electric kettle in the room was convenient for making a cup of tea before bed. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious meals we enjoyed at the restaurant. the breakfast was especially tasty, with a good selection of options to choose from. the bar and lounge area was a cozy spot to relax in the evenings, and we also appreciated the free parking available on site. In terms of value for money, I would say that the Boot Inn offers an excellent balance of cost and luxury. the room rates were reasonable considering the high standard of service and facilities provided. Overall, I would highly recommend the Boot Inn to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the Lake District. the combination of friendly staff, cozy rooms, and delicious food make it a top choice for travelers seeking a memorable experience in the area. I will definitely be returning for another visit in the future.
